Refund policy

Returns

If you would like to return an item, you have 30 days from the date of purchase to return your item(s).

Assuming the following conditions are met we will arrange a return and cover any costs.

  • Unopened/Unused
  • In its original unopened packaging
  • In a resaleable condition
  • With its proof of purchase
  • You’ll also need to return any free items/promos that came with the product.

Any item(s) that do not meet the above criteria may be subject to exceptions, please see the "Exceptions" section for more details.

Refunds will be processed by the original payment method. If you paid on card, it could take up to 10 days working days to appear back in your account. Refunds will be processed Monday-Friday.

Cancellations

You may cancel an order at any point prior to delivery. If we have not already despatched the order, you will be refunded in full.

We reserve the right to cancel your order if:

  • We have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered;
  • We do not deliver to your area;
  • The manufacturer has discontinued the goods.
  • Your order contains a product identified as having a pricing or product description error

Faulty items

If your product develops a fault within 30 days of purchase, you can contact us by email (info@hii-life.com) to help resolve this. A member of the team will contact you to discuss options which may include:

  • a return and refund
  • an exchange
  • arranging for a technician to attempt to fix the fault

To start a this process, please email us (info@hii-life.com) and include the following information:

  • Order number
  • Pictures, videos or evidence of the fault and/or damages
  • A picture including serial numbers on the box and/or product

After 30 days, Samsung UK support will provide wider support such as an engineer visit to assess the fault at your home, and finally if they are unable to resolve you will be offered a refund/replacement by Samsung directly.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Please note, if you request a return or exchange, the product must be delivered and collected from the original address on the order.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Arranged collections

For certain products our dedicated courier team may be required to collect the item(s) from the delivery address. In this case our team will call you to arrange a suitable day for collection.

Please note if you have agreed to a collection date, we will require 48 hours’ notice to cancel or amend. Any failed collections may result in a penalty of £75.

Exceptions

If item(s) do not meet the above conditions then related costs may become the responsibility of the customer. Some examples of exceptions are as follows:

  • Issues caused by errors in data provided by the customer (addresses, contact numbers, availability)
  • Customer specific usage issues, item(s) incompatibility with customer devices, not a direct item(s) fault
